Transitions

Add transitions that make scene changes feel more emotional, cinematic, and polished.

Add a transition in three steps

The transition workflow moves left to right: open Transitions from the editor tool rail, choose a transition style, then adjust the transition block in the timeline.

Transitions help a real estate video feel less mechanical and more emotional. Use them when a simple cut feels too abrupt, or when moving between scenes should feel more cinematic.

  • 1. Click the Transitions tab in the editor tool rail.
  • 2. Choose one of the available transition styles from the transitions panel.
  • 3. Select the transition block in the timeline to adjust duration, placement, or remove it.

Choose a transition style

Choose the transition based on the emotion of the cut. Fast movement can make a listing feel energetic, while softer transitions can make the video feel calmer and more polished.

Warp

Warp adds a spin-like movement for a bold, high-energy scene change. Use it when moving between strong angles, room reveals, exterior-to-interior moments, or clips that already have visible camera motion.

Shockwave

Shockwave adds a ripple effect when the cut should feel more dramatic. Use it for a hero reveal, a premium room moment, or a transition that should feel like a visual impact instead of a simple cut.

Shake

Shake adds turbulent motion for a punchy, attention-grabbing transition. Use it sparingly for energetic social cuts, fast property highlights, or moments where the edit should feel intentionally dynamic.

Swipe Left

Swipe Left pushes the video left into the next clip. Use it when the next shot feels like the viewer is moving forward through the home or when a leftward camera move already exists in the footage.

Swipe Right

Swipe Right pushes the video right into the next clip. Use it for guided-tour movement, room-to-room progression, or clips where a rightward motion makes the transition feel continuous.

Glow

Glow adds a soft warm bloom for a smoother, more emotional transition. Use it for lifestyle moments, twilight-style mood, cozy interiors, or clips that should feel polished without feeling aggressive.

Cross Dissolve

Cross Dissolve blends clips cleanly when you want the transition to feel subtle. Use it for calmer walkthroughs, slower pacing, or shots where preserving a premium, editorial feeling matters more than adding energy.

Speed Ramp

Speed Ramp creates a time-warp boundary when two clips should connect with momentum. Use it for movement-heavy shots, fast reveals, or transitions where the edit should feel synced to speed and motion.
